Hammond 1586H12A1 60-Inch 12-Outlet Vertical Power Strip, 15A

The 1586H12A1 is a 60-inch vertical basic PDU (outlet strip) with twelve NEMA 5-15R receptacles, rated 15 amps at 125VAC, 60 Hz. It is intended for IT, AV and electrical installers who need to distribute single-phase 120V power up the side of a rack or cabinet, and it can also be laid horizontally on a workbench.

Construction is a low-profile slim anodized aluminum extrusion with ABS plastic ends, in a Natural finish, keeping the unit rugged but lightweight at a 4.5 lb (2.04 kg) shipping weight. All twelve 5-15R outlets face the front (no rear outlets) and are 1 in. square, equally spaced along the length of the strip at 4.500 in. typical centres. Power control is handled by an on/off rocker switch, and a resettable 15 amp circuit breaker is built in.

The strip length is 60.00 in. (1524 mm) nominal, with the drawing showing an overall assembly length of 1535.89 mm (60.468 in.). A 6 ft moulded 14/3 SJT cord with a NEMA 5-15P straight-blade plug is included, and every outlet strip ships with a mounting bracket kit with hardware; additional kits are available as P/N 1585CLIP.

1586H12A1 is cULus recognized per the manufacturer's standards data (UL File # E166039), UL Listed to Standard UL1363 and CSA Certified to C22.2 No. 21-95 and No. 42-99 per the part drawing. It is RoHS and REACH compliant, USMCA compliant, TAA-compliant for federal GSA schedule purchases within the USA, and manufactured in Canada.
