Hammond 1586H10D1 60" 10-Outlet Vertical PDU, L5-15P Locking Plug

The 1586H10D1 is a 60-inch vertical basic PDU (power distribution outlet strip) with 10 NEMA 5-15R outlets, built for IT, AV and electrical professionals who need clean, rack-height power distribution inside a cabinet or open frame. All 10 receptacles face the front, and the strip is rated 125VAC, 60 Hz, 15 amps with an on/off rocker power switch and a resettable circuit breaker.

Construction is a low-profile slim anodized aluminum extrusion with ABS plastic ends, keeping the strip rugged yet lightweight. The finish is natural (unpainted anodized aluminum). The receptacles are 1" square and equally spaced over the length of the strip, typically 127.00 mm (5.000 in) apart. Nominal strip length is 60.00 in (1524 mm); the drawing shows a case extrusion length of 1529.08 mm (60.200 in) and an overall assembly length of 1535.89 mm (60.468 in). Shipping weight is 6 lbs (2.72 kg).

Power is supplied by an integral 15 ft heavy duty cord with a moulded NEMA L5-15P locking plug, so the connection stays seated in high-traffic racks and mobile equipment. Cord construction for this series is 14 gauge, 14/3 SJT type for extreme temperature ranges.

A mounting bracket kit with hardware is included for vertical installation; additional hardware kits are available as P/N 1585CLIP. The low-profile design also allows the 1586H10D1 to be used horizontally on a workbench.
