Hammond 1586H10A1 60-Inch 10-Outlet Vertical Power Strip, 15A

The 1586H10A1 is a 60-inch vertical basic PDU (power outlet strip) with 10 NEMA 5-15R receptacles, rated 15 amps at 125VAC, 60 Hz. It is built for IT, AV and electrical installers who need straightforward, unmetered power distribution down the side of a rack or cabinet, and it can also be laid horizontally on a workbench when a long run of outlets is needed.

Construction is a low-profile slim anodized aluminum extrusion with ABS plastic ends, giving a rugged but lightweight assembly at a 4.1 lb (1.86 kg) shipping weight. The finish is Natural. All 10 outlets face the front (none on the rear), are 1 in square, are not rotated, and are equally spaced over the length of the strip. An on/off rocker switch and a resettable 15 A circuit breaker are built in.

The nominal strip length is 60.00 in (1524 mm), with an overall assembly length of 60.468 in (1535.89 mm) on the drawing. Power input is a captive 6 ft heavy-duty 14/3 SJT cord with an integral moulded NEMA 5-15P straight-blade plug, suitable for extreme temperature ranges. The cord is not shielded. This part number is not surge protected, not metered and not hospital grade.

Each outlet strip ships with a mounting bracket kit and hardware for vertical installation; additional hardware kits are available as P/N 1585CLIP. 1586H10A1 is manufactured in North America (country of origin CA), is USMCA, RoHS and REACH compliant, is TAA-compliant for federal GSA schedule purchases within the USA, and is cULus recognized under UL File # E166039 to UL Listed Standard UL1363 with CSA Certified Standards C22.2 No. 21-95 and No. 42-99.
