Hammond 1586H10C1 60-Inch Vertical PDU, 10 Outlets, L5-15P Plug

The 1586H10C1 is a 60" vertical basic PDU (outlet strip) with 10 NEMA 5-15R receptacles, rated 125 VAC, 60 Hz, 15 amps. It is intended for IT, AV and electrical work where equipment mounted in a rack, cabinet or open frame needs distributed 120 V single-phase power along the full height of the enclosure. All 10 outlets face the front; there are no rear outlets, and this version is not surge protected, not metered and not hospital grade.

Construction is a low-profile slim anodized aluminum extrusion with ABS plastic end caps, finished in Natural. The aluminum body keeps the strip rugged but lightweight, and the same design can be laid horizontally on a workbench when it is not mounted in a rack. Receptacles are 1" square and equally spaced over the length of the strip, with a typical 127.00 mm (5.000 in) spacing shown on the drawing.

Nominal strip length is 60.00 in (1524 mm); the drawing shows an overall length of 1529.08 mm (60.200 in) and an assembly side view of 1535.89 mm (60.468 in). Shipping weight is 4.5 lbs (2.04 kg). Power input is a 6 ft heavy-duty 14/3 SJT cord with an integral moulded NEMA L5-15P locking plug, suited to extreme temperature ranges. Control and protection are handled by an on/off rocker switch and a resettable 15 amp circuit breaker.

A mounting bracket kit with hardware is included with the 1586H10C1; additional hardware kits are available by ordering P/N 1585CLIP. The strip is UL Listed to UL1363 with CSA certification to C22.2 (No. 21-95, 42-99), UL file E166039, and is TAA-compliant for federal GSA schedule purchases within the USA. It is RoHS and REACH compliant, USMCA compliant and manufactured in North America.
