Hammond 1585H15C1 48-Inch 15-Outlet Vertical PDU, L5-15P Plug

The 1585H15C1 is a 48-inch vertical basic PDU (outlet strip) with 15 NEMA 5-15R receptacles, rated 125 VAC, 60 Hz, 15 amps. It is intended for IT, AV and electronics installations where a long run of single-phase 120 V outlets is needed down the side of a rack or cabinet, and it can also be used horizontally on a workbench.

The case is an anodized aluminum extrusion with ABS plastic ends, giving a low-profile slim design that is rugged yet lightweight. Colour is Natural. Receptacles are 1 in square and are equally spaced over the length of the strip, with all 15 outlets on the front face and none on the rear. An on/off rocker switch and a resettable 15 amp circuit breaker are built in; this version is not surge protected and is not metered or hospital grade.

Power comes from an integral 6 ft heavy duty 14/3 SJT cord with a moulded NEMA L5-15P locking plug, suited to extreme temperature ranges and to installations where an accidental cord pull must be avoided. Overall extrusion length is 1224.28 mm (48.200 in), with an overall assembly length of 1231.19 mm (48.472 in); shipping weight is 3.5 lbs (1.59 kg).

Each outlet strip includes a mounting bracket kit with hardware for vertical installation; part number 1585CLIP is available if an additional hardware kit is required. The 1585H15C1 is UL Listed to UL1363 and CSA Certified to C22.2 (No. 21-95, 42-99) under UL file E166039, is cULus and TAA-compliant for federal GSA schedule purchases within the USA, and is RoHS, REACH and USMCA compliant.
