Hammond 1585H15B1 48-Inch Vertical 15-Outlet Power Strip, 5-15R

The 1585H15B1 is a 48" vertical basic PDU (outlet strip) with 15 NEMA 5-15R receptacles, intended for distributing 120V single-phase power inside equipment racks and cabinets. All 15 outlets face the front of the strip, and the unit includes an on/off rocker switch plus a resettable circuit breaker, making it a practical choice for IT, AV, broadcast and OEM installations where a single switched feed for a rack of equipment is needed.

Construction is a low-profile slim anodized aluminum extrusion with ABS plastic end caps, in a natural finish. The rugged lightweight aluminum body keeps weight down at 3.5 lbs (1.59 kg) shipping weight. Receptacles are 1" square and equally spaced over the length of the strip. Power is supplied by a heavy duty 14 gauge 14/3 SJT cord suitable for extreme temperature ranges, 15 ft long, with an integral moulded NEMA 5-15P straight blade plug.

The strip measures 48.00 in (1219 mm) nominal length, with drawing dimensions of 1224.28 mm [48.200 in] and an overall assembly length of 1231.09 mm [48.468 in]. It is rated 125 VAC, 60 Hz, 15 Amps. Although designed for vertical rack mounting, the same slim profile also allows it to be used horizontally on a workbench.

A mounting bracket kit with hardware is included with 1585H15B1; additional hardware kits are available as P/N 1585CLIP. The 1585H15B1 is UL Listed to UL1363 and CSA Certified to C22.2 (No. 21-95, 42-99) under UL file E166039, is RoHS and REACH compliant, USMCA compliant, TAA-compliant for federal GSA schedule purchases within the USA, and is manufactured in North America.
