Hammond 1585H16B1 48" 16-Outlet Vertical Power Strip, 15A

The 1585H16B1 is a 48-inch vertical basic PDU from the 1585-6-7-8 Series, built for IT, AV and electrical professionals who need many 15A outlets distributed down the full height of a rack frame or along a bench. It carries 16 NEMA 5-15R receptacles, all facing the front, and is rated 125VAC, 60 Hz, 15 amps.

Construction is a low-profile slim anodized aluminum extrusion with ABS plastic end caps, keeping the strip rugged but lightweight in a Natural finish. Receptacles are 1 inch square and equally spaced over the length of the strip, so cord-to-cord spacing stays predictable when plugging in wall-wart style supplies. An on/off rocker switch and a resettable circuit breaker are built in.

Overall assembly length is 1231.09 mm (48.468 in) with a nominal strip length of 48.00 in (1219 mm); the drawing also shows a 1224.28 mm (48.200 in) case dimension and an end profile of 29.18 mm (1.149 in). Shipping weight is 4 lbs (1.81 kg). Power is supplied by an integral 15 ft heavy-duty 14/3 SJT cord with a moulded NEMA 5-15P straight-blade plug, suited to extreme temperature ranges. This version is not surge protected and is not metered or hospital grade.

1585H16B1 is UL Listed to UL1363 and CSA Certified to C22.2 (No. 21-95, 42-99) under UL file E166039, with cULus and TAA-compliant standards noted for federal GSA schedule purchases within the USA.
