The 1582H8D1BK is a 1U horizontal 19" rack mount basic PDU with eight NEMA 5-15R outlets facing the front of the unit. It is built for IT, AV and facilities teams that need straightforward 15 A single-phase power distribution inside a rack or cabinet, with every receptacle accessible from the front for fast patching and service.

Power comes in through a heavy-duty 14 gauge cord — 14/3 SJT type rated for extreme temperature ranges with an integral moulded plug. This version ships with a 15 ft cord terminated in a locking NEMA L5-15P plug (the series ordering table and the part drawing both call out the locking plug; the part attribute table lists the plug as 5-15P, so confirm the plug style required for your receptacle). A resettable 15 Amp, 125 VAC circuit breaker guards against accidental overload, and an illuminated on/off rocker switch controls the strip.

The chassis measures 19.000 in (482.60 mm) wide, 1.718 in (43.64 mm) high and 2.661 in (67.58 mm) deep, weighs 3.6 lbs (1.63 kg) and is finished in black painted steel front and back. The powder coat finish complies with Greenguard guidelines for indoor air quality.
