Hammond 1582T6A1BK 1U 6-Outlet 15A Rack PDU, Front Facing

The 1582T6A1BK is a 1U horizontal 19-inch rack mount basic PDU with six front-facing NEMA 5-15R outlets, rated 15 A single-phase at 125 VAC, 60 Hz. It is built for IT, AV and OEM installations where equipment power needs to be distributed from the front of a rack or cabinet, so cords stay visible and easy to trace during service. This version uses a red illuminated power indicator (pilot light) rather than an on/off rocker switch, keeping the outlet strip permanently live while showing at a glance that power is present.

Construction is black painted steel front and back, finished in RAL9005 black powder coat that complies with the Greenguard guidelines for indoor air quality. Overall dimensions are 1.72 in (44 mm) high, 19.00 in (483 mm) wide and 2.66 in (68 mm) deep for standard 1U 19-inch rackmount installation, and shipping weight is 3.35 lbs (1.52 kg).

Power is supplied by a 6 ft heavy-duty 14 gauge 14/3 SJT cord rated for extreme temperature ranges with an integral moulded NEMA 5-15P straight-blade plug. A resettable 15 Amp, 125 VAC circuit breaker on the panel guards against accidental overload. All six outlets are on the front face; there are no rear outlets, no rotated outlets, no surge module and no local ammeter on this model.
