Hammond 1582T6A1BKRA 1U 6-Outlet Rotated Receptacle Rack PDU

The 1582T6A1BKRA is a 1U horizontal 19" rack mount basic PDU that distributes single-phase 15 A power from the front of the unit. It carries six NEMA 5-15R receptacles on the front face and none on the rear, making it suited to IT, AV and OEM racks where cords are dressed and serviced from the front. This version uses rotated (90 degree) outlets, which add extra spacing for clearance of most plug-in transformers, and is fitted with a red power indicator (pilot) light rather than an on/off rocker switch.

Construction is black painted steel front and back, finished in RAL9005 black powder coat that complies with the Greenguard guidelines for indoor air quality. Overall dimensions are 1.72 in (44 mm) high by 19.00 in (483 mm) wide by 2.66 in (68 mm) deep, and shipping weight is 4 lbs (1.81 kg). A resettable 15 Amp, 125 VAC circuit breaker is built in to prevent accidental overload.

Power is supplied by an attached 6 ft heavy-duty 14 gauge cord - 14/3 SJT type for extreme temperature ranges - terminated in an integral moulded NEMA 5-15P straight blade plug. The unit is rated 125 VAC, 60 Hz, 15 Amps (rated voltage listed as 120 VAC on the part data) and is not surge protected or locally metered.
