Hammond 1582T6B1 1U 15A Horizontal PDU, 6 Front 5-15R Outlets

The 1582T6B1 is a 1U horizontal basic power distribution unit for 19" racks and cabinets, giving IT, AV and facilities teams six front-facing NEMA 5-15R outlets in a single rack space. It is a non-switched version fitted with an illuminated red power indicator light, so technicians can confirm the strip is live at a glance without the risk of an accidental shutdown from a rocker switch.

Power distribution is designed from the front of the unit: all six outlets are on the front panel and there are no rear outlets, which suits front-access patching, shelf-mounted gear and shallow equipment racks. The unit is rated 125 VAC, 60 Hz, 15 Amps and includes a resettable 15 Amp, 125 VAC circuit breaker to guard against accidental overload. A heavy-duty 14/3 SJT 14 gauge cord with an integral moulded NEMA 5-15P straight-blade plug is supplied in a 15 ft length for reaching wall or in-rack receptacles.

Overall dimensions are 1.72 in (44 mm) high by 19.00 in (483 mm) wide by 2.66 in (68 mm) deep, with the mounting flanges spanning 19.000 in (482.60 mm) for standard 19" rack rails. Front and back are ASA 61 grey painted steel, a powder coat finish that complies with the Greenguard guidelines for indoor air quality. Shipping weight is 3.35 lbs (1.52 kg).
