Hammond 1582T6B1BKAM 1U Metered 15A PDU, 6 Front 5-15R Outlets

The 1582T6B1BKAM is a 1U horizontal 19-inch rack mount basic PDU with local amp metering, intended for IT, AV, broadcast and industrial cabinets where equipment needs to be powered and load current checked from the front of the rack. It is rated 15 A at 120 VAC (drawing rating 125 VAC, 60 Hz, 15 A) and provides six front-facing NEMA 5-15R outlets, with no rear outlets.

This version uses a red power indicator light rather than an on/off rocker switch, and adds an easy-to-read red LED ammeter with 0.37 in high digits in a 1.38 in x 0.88 in display, accurate to +/- 0.1 A. A resettable 15 A, 125 VAC circuit breaker guards against accidental overload. The attached cord is heavy-duty 14/3 SJT, 14 gauge wire suited to extreme temperature ranges, with an integral moulded straight-blade NEMA 5-15P plug.

Construction is painted steel front and back in a textured black finish; the 1582 series powder coat finishes comply with Greenguard guidelines for indoor air quality. Overall dimensions are 1.72 in (44 mm) high by 19.00 in (483 mm) wide by 2.66 in (68 mm) deep, with the drawing showing 43.64 mm (1.718 in) height and 67.58 mm (2.661 in) depth. Shipping weight is 3.5 lbs (1.59 kg).
