Hammond 1582T6C1 1U 15A Gray PDU, 6 Front 5-15R Outlets

The 1582T6C1 is a 1U horizontal 19-inch rack mount basic power distribution unit that feeds six front-facing NEMA 5-15R outlets from a single 15 A, 125 VAC branch circuit. It is intended for IT, AV and industrial users who need straightforward, front-accessible power in a server cabinet, relay rack or open frame rack. This version has no on/off switch; a red power indicator light shows that the strip is energized.

Power comes in through an attached 6 ft heavy-duty 14/3 SJT cord with an integral moulded NEMA L5-15P locking plug, so the connection resists accidental disconnection at the source receptacle. A resettable 15 Amp, 125 VAC circuit breaker is built in to guard against accidental overload. The steel chassis is finished front and back in ASA 61 grey powder coat, which complies with the Greenguard guidelines for indoor air quality.

Overall dimensions are 1.72 in (44 mm) high, 19.00 in (483 mm) wide and 2.66 in (68 mm) deep, with the drawing showing 43.64 mm height, 482.60 mm width and 67.58 mm depth, for single-rack-unit installation in standard 19-inch rails. Shipping weight is 3.5 lbs (1.59 kg).
