Hammond 1582H8B1 1U 15A Gray Rack PDU, 8 Front 5-15R Outlets

The 1582H8B1 is a 1U horizontal rack mount basic PDU designed for 19" rack and cabinet installation, distributing single-phase 125 VAC power from the front of the unit. It carries eight NEMA 5-15R outlets on the front face and none on the rear, making it suited to IT, AV and control-room racks where patch-panel-style access to every outlet matters.

Power comes in through an integral 15 ft heavy-duty cord with a moulded NEMA 5-15P straight-blade plug. The cord is 14 gauge, 14/3 SJT type for extreme temperature ranges. An illuminated on/off rocker switch controls the strip, and a resettable 15 Amp, 125 VAC circuit breaker guards against accidental overload. The drawing rates this assembly at 125 VAC, 60 Hz, 15 Amps; the part data lists a rated voltage of 120 VAC and rated current of 15 A.
