Hammond 1582H8A1 1U 8-Outlet 15A Rack Mount PDU, Gray

The 1582H8A1 is a 1U horizontal rack mount basic PDU for 19" racks and cabinets, giving IT, AV and facilities teams eight NEMA 5-15R outlets across the front of the unit where cords are easy to see, label and re-patch. It is rated 15 Amps at 120 VAC (drawing rated 125 VAC, 60 Hz, 15 Amps) and is supplied with a 6 ft cord terminated in a straight-blade NEMA 5-15P plug.

Power is controlled by a lighted on/off rocker switch, and a resettable circuit breaker rated 15 Amp, 125 VAC is built in to guard against accidental overload. The attached cord is heavy-duty 14 gauge 14/3 SJT type for extreme temperature ranges with an integral moulded plug. This version has no surge protection, no ammeter, no rotated outlets and no rear outlets - all eight receptacles face forward.

Construction is painted steel, finished front and back in ASA 61 grey powder coat that complies with the Greenguard guidelines for indoor air quality. Overall dimensions are 1.72 in (44 mm) high by 19.00 in (483 mm) wide by 2.66 in (68 mm) deep, occupying a single rack unit, and shipping weight is 3.5 lbs (1.59 kg).
