The 1582H6D1S is a 1U horizontal 19" rack mount basic PDU with surge protection, built for IT, AV and industrial racks that need clean single-phase 125V power distributed from the front of the cabinet. Six front-facing NEMA 5-15R outlets (no rear outlets) are rated 15 Amps, and a lighted on/off rocker switch plus resettable 15 Amp, 125 VAC circuit breaker give local control and overload protection.
Power is fed by a heavy-duty 14/3 SJT cord, 15 ft long, with an integral moulded NEMA L5-15P locking plug so the connection cannot be pulled loose in a busy rack. Front and back panels are ASA 61 grey painted steel, a powder coat finish that complies with the Greenguard guidelines for indoor air quality.

A green indicator light confirms the module is active; at end of life the internal protection disconnects the module and extinguishes the light while power to the load is maintained, now unprotected.
