Hammond 1582H6D1 1U 6-Outlet Rack PDU, 15 ft Locking Cord

The 1582H6D1 is a 1U horizontal rack mount basic PDU designed for 19" racks and cabinets, distributing single-phase 15 A, 120 VAC power from the front of the unit. Six front-facing NEMA 5-15R outlets (no rear outlets) make it suited to IT, AV and OEM installations where equipment cords land at the front of the rack. An illuminated on/off rocker switch gives local control of the whole strip, and a resettable circuit breaker helps prevent accidental overload.

Construction is painted steel, finished front and back in ASA 61 gray powder coat, which complies with the Greenguard guidelines for indoor air quality. The unit measures 1.72 in (44 mm) high, 19.00 in (483 mm) wide and 2.66 in (68 mm) deep, and ships at 3.5 lbs (1.59 kg), so it occupies a single rack unit in a standard 19" EIA opening.

Power is supplied by a 15 ft heavy-duty 14 gauge, 14/3 SJT cord rated for extreme temperature ranges, terminated in an integral moulded NEMA L5-15P locking plug for connections that will not pull free. This version of 1582H6D1 has straight (non-rotated) receptacles, no surge module and no ammeter.
