Hammond 1582H6C1 1U 6-Outlet 15A PDU, L5-15P Locking Cord

The 1582H6C1 is a 1U horizontal rack mount basic PDU for 19" racks and cabinets, giving IT, AV and facilities teams six front-facing NEMA 5-15R outlets exactly where equipment cords land. It is rated 15 A at 125 VAC, 60 Hz (rated voltage listed as 120 VAC) and is designed for power distribution from the front of the unit, so plugs and cord service stay accessible without reaching behind mounted gear.

Power comes in through an integral 6 ft moulded NEMA L5-15P locking plug cord, using heavy-duty 14 gauge 14/3 SJT type wire suited to extreme temperature ranges. A lighted on/off rocker switch controls the outlet strip and a resettable 15 Amp, 125 VAC circuit breaker guards against accidental overload. This version has straight (non-rotated) outlets, no surge module and no ammeter.

The steel chassis measures 1.72 in (44 mm) high by 19.00 in (483 mm) wide by 2.66 in (68 mm) deep and weighs 3.5 lbs (1.59 kg) shipping weight. Front and back are finished in ASA 61 Grey painted steel, a powder coat that complies with Greenguard guidelines for indoor air quality.
