Hammond 1556HAGY 200x200x70mm Light Gray ABS IoT Enclosure

The 1556HAGY is a light gray, flame retardant ABS enclosure in the 70 mm tall 1556HA size, intended for printed circuit boards, IoT equipment and other small electronics installed indoors. The neutral light gray finish suits control panels, facility equipment and lab setups where the box sits in view.

Overall size is 7.87 x 7.87 x 2.76 in (200 x 200 x 70 mm). Per the drawing, usable inside space is 193.21 mm [7.61 in] square with 64.00 mm [2.52 in] of height, and the maximum P.C. board size is 180 x 180 mm. Mounting bosses in the lid and base accept #6 self-tapping screws, and the 1556HPL aluminum inner panel is available separately for component mounting.

Construction uses lap joints that protect against access of dust and splashing water, and the enclosure is designed to meet IP54. The ABS carries a UL94 V-0 flammability rating, has a light satin texture with rounded corners and face, and is RoHS and REACH compliant. The 1556 series is not designed for outdoor use.

Mounting choices include tabletop use on the four included rubber feet, a heavy duty wall flange mount, or a flush keyhole wall mount using the 1556FOOTGY-4 light gray foot kit.
