Hammond 1556HAWH 200x200x70mm White ABS IoT Enclosure

The 1556HAWH is a white enclosure in flame retardant ABS, sized 200 x 200 x 70 mm, from the 1556 Modern General Purpose series. It is aimed at designers of IoT equipment, sensors and small electronics who want a clean white housing for indoor desktop or wall installation.

External dimensions are 7.87 in (200 mm) long, 7.87 in (200 mm) wide and 2.76 in (70 mm) high. The drawing lists an inside length and width of 193.21 mm [7.61 in] and an inside height of 64.00 mm [2.52 in], and the manufacturer gives a maximum P.C. board size of 180 x 180 mm. Circuit boards attach to mounting locations in the lid and base with #6 self-tapping screws, or you can add the 1556HPL aluminum inner panel, sold separately.

The housing has rounded corners and face with a light satin texture. Its lap joint construction protects against dust and splashing water, it is designed to meet IP54, and the material carries a UL94 V-0 flammability rating. RoHS and REACH compliance are listed. The 1556 series is for indoor use only.

Set it on a desk using the four included rubber feet, or mount it on a wall with the white 1556FOOTWH-4 foot kit in either heavy duty flange or flush keyhole configuration. PMB110127KIT3 (7" max.) and PMB110127KIT4 (15" max.) pole mount kits are listed for the 1556HA profile. The 1556HAWH ships shrink wrapped and includes box, lid, 4 cover screws and 4 rubber feet; the lid is secured with #6 x 1/2" self-tapping Plastite screws.
