Hammond 1555QAGY 140x140x90mm Deep Gray Abs IP66 Enclosure

The 1555QAGY is a deep 140 mm square general purpose ABS enclosure measuring 5.51 in x 5.51 in x 3.54 in (140 mm x 140 mm x 90 mm). It is aimed at indoor installations that need a roomy, sealed box for DIN rail components, circuit boards or wiring.

The light gray RAL 7035 ABS carries a UL94-HB flammability rating. ABS versions are not UL listed but have been tested to and meet IP66, with an IK07 impact rating per IEC 62262:2021 and a recommended operating range of -20°C to +60°C. The gray lid seals with a two-piece tongue and groove joint and a replaceable one-piece silicone gasket, which is supplied loose inside the enclosure.

The drawing lists interior dimensions of 131.32 mm long, 128.38 mm wide and 81.20 mm high, and the part lists a maximum P.C. board size of 127 mm x 127.5 mm. Inside are molded DIN rail tabs, threaded M3 brass inserts, standoffs for #6 self-tapping screws and vertical guides for 1.5 mm boards, while the lid has molded #6 standoffs. A 1554QPL galvanized steel inner panel can be ordered separately.

1555QAGY comes with four self-captivating M4 stainless steel lid screws that thread into corrosion resistant inserts; recommended torque is 43-57 ozf-in (30-40 cN-m). Four 4.30 mm wall-mounting holes outside the gasket channel also take the 1554FT foot kit. The UL listed polycarbonate version is 1555QA2GY.
