Measuring 180 x 120 mm with a 61 mm total height, the 1555H2GY is a light gray (RAL 7035) polycarbonate enclosure in the 1555 Series. Its long, low footprint suits panel-builders and OEM designers mounting larger printed circuit boards or DIN rail components in a sealed, outdoor-capable box.
Polycarbonate construction is UV stabilized and carries a UL94 5VA flame rating. The enclosure is cUL and UL 508A listed under file E65324, rated IP68 and NEMA Type 4, 4X, 6, 6P, 12 and 13, and has an IK08 impact rating per IEC 62262:2021. Recommended operating temperature is -40°C to +110°C (-40°F to +230°F).
Inside you get 172.91 x 108.91 mm of floor area and 52.00 mm of height, with room for a P.C. board up to 106.68 x 167.13 mm. The interior includes molded DIN rail tabs, M3 brass inserts, standoffs for #6 self-tapping screws and vertical guides for 1.5 mm boards. The 1554HPL steel inner panel is available separately and fits in the box or lid.
The styled lid has a smooth recess for a membrane keypad or label, a two-piece tongue and groove seal with a replaceable one-piece silicone gasket (supplied loose), and four captive M4 stainless steel screws in corrosion resistant inserts. Four 4.00 mm wall-mounting holes are outside the gasket channel and double as the attachment for the 1554FT foot kit.
