The 1555HGY is a 180 x 120 mm general purpose ABS enclosure with a 61 mm total height, finished in light gray RAL 7035. Part of the 1555 Series, it gives indoor electronics projects a generous floor area for circuit boards or DIN rail components under a styled, gasketed lid.
This ABS version carries a UL94 HB flame rating and is intended for indoor use. It is not UL listed but has been tested to and meets IP66, with an IK07 impact rating per IEC 62262:2021 and a recommended operating range of -20°C to +60°C (-4°F to +140°F). For UL 508A listing and outdoor use, choose the polycarbonate 1555H2GY.
Internal space is 172.91 x 108.91 mm with 52.00 mm of height, and the enclosure accepts a P.C. board up to 106.68 x 167.13 mm. Molded DIN rail tabs, M3 integral brass inserts, standoffs for #6 self-tapping screws and vertical card guides for 1.5 mm boards are built in; the 1554HPL steel inner panel is sold separately.
The lid provides a smooth recessed face for a membrane keypad or label and seals on a tongue and groove joint using a replaceable one-piece silicone gasket supplied loose. Four self captivating M4 stainless steel screws secure it at 43-57 ozf-in (30-40 cN-m). Shipping weight is 0.57 lbs (0.26 kg).
