Hammond 1555H2F17GY 180x120x38mm Polycarbonate Flanged NEMA 4X Enclosure

The 1555H2F17GY is a 180 x 120 mm low-profile polycarbonate enclosure from the 1555F Series. Its long footprint suits larger, flat PC boards and rows of DIN rail devices, and the flanged base is designed for wall mounting in outdoor and harsh industrial settings such as security, outdoor wireless and controls.

The UV stabilized polycarbonate is rated UL94-5VA, and the enclosure is cUL and UL 508A listed under file E65324. It has been independently tested to IP66, IP67 and IP68 and to NEMA Type 4, 4X, 6, 6P, 12 and 13, with an IK08 impact rating per IEC 62262:2021. Hammond recommends -40°C to +110°C (-40°F to +230°F).

The ordering table gives 7.09 x 4.72 x 1.50 in (180 x 120 x 38 mm) without flanges; the part page lists 180 x 119 x 37 mm. The drawing shows 220.79 mm overall across the flanges, a 37.71 mm assembly height, a 17.70 mm inner base depth and a 12.00 mm inner lid depth. Molded DIN rail tabs in the lid and standoffs for #4 x 1/4 in self-tapping screws (1555TS100) support a PC board up to 106.68 x 167.13 mm or the 1555HFPL galvanized steel inner panel.

The lid seals with a one-piece silicone gasket (supplied loose) in a tongue and groove joint and is held by four included M4 stainless screws in corrosion resistant inserts, torqued to 2.5 lbf-in (30 cN-m). The 1555H2F17GY is RoHS and REACH compliant and weighs 0.5 lbs (0.23 kg).
