Hammond 1555H2F42GY 180x120x62mm Polycarbonate Flanged NEMA 4X Enclosure

The 1555H2F42GY is the deep version of the 180 x 120 mm polycarbonate enclosure in the 1555F Series, with a 62 mm body height. It gives integrators room for larger boards plus taller devices, terminals or DIN rail components in a flanged, wall-mount housing for outdoor and harsh industrial installations.

Molded from UV stabilized polycarbonate rated UL94-5VA, it is cUL and UL 508A listed under file E65324. Independent testing covers IP66, IP67 and IP68 as well as NEMA Type 4, 4X, 6, 6P, 12 and 13, with an IK08 impact rating per IEC 62262:2021. Recommended operating temperature is -40°C to +110°C (-40°F to +230°F).

Without flanges the body is 7.09 x 4.72 x 2.44 in (180 x 120 x 62 mm); the part page lists 180 x 119 x 62 mm. The drawing shows 220.79 mm overall across the flanges, a 62.34 mm assembly height, a 42.50 mm inner base depth and a 12.00 mm inner lid depth. DIN rail tabs are molded into the lid, and standoffs for #4 x 1/4 in self-tapping screws (1555TS100) take a PC board up to 106.68 x 167.13 mm or the 1555HFPL steel inner panel.

Included are the box, flanged lid, four M4 stainless steel cover screws that thread into corrosion resistant inserts, and a preformed silicone gasket supplied loose; recommended torque is 2.5 lbf-in (30 cN-m). The 1555H2F42GY is RoHS and REACH compliant, RAL7035 grey, and weighs 0.5 lbs (0.23 kg).
