The 1555HF42GY is the deep 180 x 120 mm ABS enclosure in the 1555F Series, offering a 62 mm body height for larger assemblies with relays, terminals or taller components. The flanged base is designed for wall mounting, giving panel builders and OEMs a sealed indoor enclosure with plenty of internal area.
The enclosure is general purpose ABS rated UL94-HB, in a satin RAL7035 grey finish with a smooth recessed lid surface for a membrane keypad or label. It is not UL listed but has been tested to and meets IP66, with an IK07 impact rating per IEC 62262:2021 and a recommended operating temperature of -20°C to +60°C (-4°F to +140°F).
Without flanges the body measures 7.09 x 4.72 x 2.44 in (180 x 120 x 62 mm); the part page lists 180 x 119 x 62 mm. The drawing shows 220.79 mm overall across the flanges, a 62.34 mm assembly height, a 42.50 mm inner base depth and a 12.00 mm inner lid depth. DIN rail tabs are molded into the lid, and standoffs for #4 x 1/4 in self-tapping screws (1555TS100) take a PC board up to 106.68 x 167.13 mm or the 1555HFPL inner panel.
A one-piece silicone gasket (supplied loose) seals the two-piece tongue and groove joint, and four included M4 stainless screws thread into corrosion resistant inserts; 2.5 lbf-in (30 cN-m) is recommended. The 1555HF42GY is RoHS and REACH compliant and ships shrink wrapped at 0.67 lbs (0.30 kg).
