The 1554VAL2GYCL pairs a light gray (RAL 7035) polycarbonate box with a clear polycarbonate lid, so displays, indicator LEDs or components can be seen without opening the enclosure. It suits OEM designers and integrators housing PC boards or DIN rail devices in wet or outdoor locations.
This low-profile size measures 240 x 160 x 60 mm (9.45 x 6.30 x 2.36 in) outside and 232.35 x 152.35 x 53.30 mm inside. It accepts PC boards up to 145.5 x 226.82 mm, with molded DIN rail tabs, vertical card guides for 1.5 mm boards, threaded M3 brass inserts and standoffs for #6 self-tapping screws. A 1554VAPL steel inner panel is available separately.

The tongue and groove lid seals against a one piece, high temperature UL listed silicone gasket that is shipped loose inside the box. Six included stainless steel M4 screws are self-captivating and thread into corrosion resistant inserts; tighten to 71-85 ozf-in (50-60 cN-m).
Four 4.50 mm mounting holes outside the gasket channel allow wall mounting or fitting the 1554FT foot kit. The 1554VAL2GYCL weighs 1.14 lbs (0.52 kg) shipped, comes shrink wrapped, and is RoHS and REACH compliant.
