Hammond 1554VAGASKET Size VA/VAL/VB Silicone Replacement Gasket, 2-Pack

The 1554VAGASKET is a replacement lid gasket pair for Hammond 1554 and 1555 Series enclosures in sizes VA, VAL and VB. It is intended for maintenance technicians, panel builders and OEM users who need to restore the lid seal on an existing enclosure after servicing, wear or damage, without replacing the enclosure itself. The series covers 1554, 1555 and 1555F series enclosures, and this part is the one listed in the ordering table for enclosure sizes VA, VAL and VB.

The gasket is one piece, made from high temperature, U.L. listed silicone. It is sold in pairs (2-pack), so a spare is on hand for a second enclosure or a later service. The part page lists an IP66 rating for this gasket. It is RoHS and REACH compliant.

Per the drawing, the 1554VAGASKET forms a rectangular loop with an overall outline of 237.55 mm [9.35 in] x 157.55 mm [6.20 in]. The strip is 9.30 mm [.37 in] wide, the inner opening along the long dimension is 218.95 mm [8.62 in], and the Section A-A profile is dimensioned at 2.42 mm [.10 in]. Shipping weight is 0.02 lbs (0.01 kg), packed in a bag.

To order the correct part, match the size letter of your 1554 or 1555 enclosure to the ordering table: size VA, VAL and VB uses 1554VAGASKET. Other size letters use a different gasket in the 1554-55-GASKET Series, so check the enclosure part number before ordering.
