The 1554PB2 is a two-hole pushbutton enclosure for a pair of 30.5 mm operators, the typical start/stop arrangement for motors, pumps and conveyors. It is built on the 1554J body from the Type 4, 4X polycarbonate 1554 PB Series and is intended for electricians, controls integrators and OEMs who need a sealed remote control station.
Construction is polycarbonate rated UL94 5VA (at 3 mm), suitable for outdoor use, in light gray RAL 7035. A replaceable preformed, high temperature U.L. listed silicone rubber gasket seals the lid, which is secured by four self-captivating M4 stainless steel screws into integral stainless steel bushings; lid screws and mounting holes are outside the gasket seal. Inside, threaded M3 brass inserts and standoffs accept M3.5 or #6 self tapping screws for PC boards or an inner panel, vertical card guides take 1.5 mm PC boards, and DIN rail mounting tabs are molded into the base.

The box has four Ø4.00 mm mounting holes, and the optional 1554JPL steel inner panel (5.80 x 3.00 in) and 1554FT mounting feet are available. Recommended cover screw torque is 43-57 ozf-in (30-40 cN-m).
1554PB2 is rated IP66 and NEMA 4, 4X, 6, 6P, 12 and 13, cULus listed under File E65324, UL 508A approved in polycarbonate, and RoHS and REACH compliant. For 22 mm operators choose 1554MPB2.
