The 1554PB1A is a single-hole pushbutton enclosure for one 30.5 mm operator, built on the deeper 1554EE body. Where the standard one-hole model is 2.36 in deep, this version gives a full 3.54 in (90 mm) of depth with the lid, leaving more room behind a single pushbutton, selector or pilot device and its wiring.
It belongs to the Type 4, 4X polycarbonate 1554 PB Series. The polycarbonate carries a UL94 5VA rating (at 3 mm), is suitable for outdoor use and is finished in light gray RAL 7035. The lid is sealed with a replaceable preformed, high temperature U.L. listed silicone rubber gasket and fastened with four self-captivating M4 stainless steel screws threaded into integral stainless steel bushings, with the lid screws and mounting holes located outside the gasket seal.
Overall size is 3.54 in (90 mm) high, 3.54 in (90 mm) wide and 3.54 in (90 mm) deep including the lid; shipping weight is 0.35 lbs (0.16 kg). The base has internal DIN rail mounting tabs and four Ø4.00 mm mounting holes. The optional 1554EPL galvanized steel inner panel measures 3.10 x 3.10 in, and 1554FT mounting feet are also available.
The 1554PB1A is rated IP66 and NEMA 4, 4X, 6, 6P, 12 and 13, is cULus listed under File E65324 with the polycarbonate version UL 508A approved, and is RoHS and REACH compliant. The 22 mm hole counterpart is 1554MPB1A.
