The 1490MG10 puts ten 22.5 mm holes on the sloped face of a 7.25 in H x 13.00 in W x 6.75 in D (184 x 330 x 171 mm) consolet. It belongs to the 1490 Series of Type 12 mild steel pushbutton enclosures and accepts 22.5 mm pushbuttons, switches and pilot lights, with the angled cover ideal for wall or surface mounting.
According to the drawing, the door measures 13.37 x 7.62 in, the holes are 0.89 in diameter on 2.25 in spacing, and the welded mounting brackets have 0.25 in holes. The front cover takes either a 30° or 60° slope depending on mounting position.
The internally hinged removable cover is designed to hold open during wiring, then secures with captive screws that thread into sealed wells. Construction is formed 16 gauge steel with smooth continuously welded seams and an oil resistant gasket and adhesive. Finish is phosphatized steel with ANSI 61 gray powder coating, and bonding and grounding studs are provided on the door and enclosure respectively.
The 1490MG10 holds UL 508A Type 12 and 13 and CSA Type 12 and 13 ratings (UL File E65324, CSA LR21001) and complies with NEMA Type 12 and 13 and IEC 60529 IP54 with appropriate components. Shipping weight is 10 lbs (4.54 kg). The 30.5 mm version is 1490G10.
