Hammond 1486D60SS 6x6x60-Inch Type 4X Stainless Steel Trough

The 1486D60SS is a five-foot, 6 in x 6 in Type 4X wiring trough from the 1486SS Series. It is designed to enclose and protect multiple wiring junctions from dirt, dust, oil and water while providing a measure of corrosion protection, giving OEM engineers and electricians a long stainless run with generous cross-section.

Construction is formed 14 gauge 304 stainless steel with smooth continuously welded seams. The butt hinged cover is secured with easily operated screw clamps, while oil resistant gaskets are permanently secured. The trough and cover are finished in natural stainless steel with a smooth brushed surface.

Its size is 6 in x 6 in x 60 in (152 mm x 152 mm x 1,524 mm). The drawing lists a 58.73 in opening, a 60.38 in door and a 7.50 in side-view overall height. It ships at 44 lbs (19.96 kg).

Installation uses the 12 gauge external mounting feet welded to the back, with 0.31 in holes spaced 6.69 in across on the drawing.
