Hammond 1486D48SS 6x6x48-Inch Stainless Type 4X Wiring Trough

For four-foot runs that need a 6 in square cross-section, the 1486D48SS Type 4X wiring trough is designed to enclose and protect multiple wiring junctions from dirt, dust, oil and water while providing a measure of corrosion protection. It belongs to the 1486SS Series of stainless wiring troughs.

The trough is formed 14 gauge 304 stainless steel with smooth continuously welded seams. A butt hinged cover is secured with easily operated screw clamps against oil resistant gaskets that are permanently secured, and trough and cover both have a natural stainless steel, smooth brushed finish.

It measures 6 in x 6 in x 48 in (152 mm x 152 mm x 1,219 mm). The drawing gives a 47.21 in opening, a 48.38 in door and a 7.50 in side-view overall height. Shipping weight is 35 lbs (15.88 kg).

Twelve gauge external mounting feet are welded to the back; per the drawing the 0.31 in mounting holes are spaced 6.69 in across.
