Hammond 1435MO 12-Hole 22.5mm Type 12 Steel Pushbutton Enclosure

The 1435MO is a twelve-hole pushbutton enclosure for 22.5mm operators from the 1435 Series of Type 12 mild steel pushbutton enclosures. Designed to accept standard heavy duty oil tight pushbuttons, switches and pilot lights, it provides a larger operator station for control engineers and panel builders consolidating many functions, indicators and selectors into one wall- or machine-mounted box.

Formed 16 gauge steel with smooth continuously welded seams gives a sealed body, and the cover and enclosure are phosphatized and finished in ANSI 61 gray powder coating. An internally hinged removable cover is designed to hold the cover open during wiring. Captive cover screws thread into sealed wells, an oil resistant gasket and adhesive keep contaminants out, and a bonding stud (door) and grounding stud (enclosure) are provided.

The 1435MO measures 11.75 in x 8.50 in x 3.00 in (298 mm x 216 mm x 76 mm). Its drawing shows 0.89 in pushbutton holes at a typical 2.25 in spacing, a 6.92 in x 10.62 in door opening, and an overall height of 12.75 in including the welded mounting brackets, which carry 0.25 in holes on 12.25 in x 7.63 in centres.

The series carries UL 508A Type 12 and 13 and CSA Type 12 and 13 listings (UL File E65324, CSA LR21001) and complies with NEMA Type 12 and 13 and IEC 60529 IP54, protecting against dirt, dust, oil and water with appropriate components installed. The 1435MO is RoHS and REACH compliant and ships boxed at 7 lbs (3.18 kg).
