Hammond 1435MH 6-Hole 22.5mm Type 12 Steel Pushbutton Enclosure

The 1435MH is a six-hole pushbutton enclosure for 22.5mm operators from the 1435 Series of Type 12 mild steel pushbutton enclosures. It is designed to accept standard heavy duty oil tight pushbuttons, switches and pilot lights, giving integrators and maintenance electricians space for a fuller set of controls such as pushbuttons, selector switches and indicators in one station.

The enclosure is formed 16 gauge steel with smooth continuously welded seams, and both cover and body are phosphatized and finished in ANSI 61 gray powder coating. This size features an internally hinged removable cover designed to hold the cover open during wiring. Captive cover screws thread into sealed wells, an oil resistant gasket and adhesive seal the cover, and there is a bonding stud on the door and a grounding stud on the enclosure.

The 1435 Series is UL 508A Type 12 and 13 and CSA Type 12 and 13 (UL File E65324, CSA LR21001) and complies with NEMA Type 12 and 13 and IEC 60529 IP54, protecting against dirt, dust, oil and water. Appropriate components are required to maintain these standards. The 1435MH is RoHS and REACH compliant, ships boxed and weighs 5 lbs (2.27 kg).
