Measuring 14 x 12 x 6 in (356 x 305 x 152 mm), the 1414N4PHSSM6 is a vertical-format Type 4X junction box in the 1414 N4 PH SS Series. It is intended for instrument enclosures, electrical junction boxes, terminal wiring enclosures and electric, hydraulic or pneumatic control housings in areas that are hosed down, very wet or exposed to corrosion.
Construction is 16 gauge 304 stainless steel with smooth, continuously welded seams and a natural brushed finish on both cover and body. The cover rides on a continuous stainless steel hinge, is held closed by stainless steel clamps and screws, and seals against a seamless poured-in-place gasket.

A bonding stud on the door and a grounding stud in the enclosure are provided. Ratings include UL 508A and CSA Type 3R, 4, 4X, 12 and 13 (UL File E65324, CSA Cert. LR21001), NEMA Type 3R, 4, 4X, 12 and 13 compliance and IEC 60529 IP66. REACH and RoHS compliant.
