Hammond 1414N4PHSSK6 12x10x6 in 304 Stainless Type 4X Junction Box

The 1414N4PHSSK6 is a 12 x 10 x 6 in (305 x 254 x 152 mm) Type 4X junction box made from 304 stainless steel in the 1414 N4 PH SS Series. It is the 6 in deep counterpart of the 1414N4PHSSK, adding an inch of depth for 5.35 in of usable space, useful for deeper devices in instrument, junction or terminal wiring enclosures located where equipment is hosed down, very wet or subject to corrosion.

Construction is 16 gauge 304 stainless steel with smooth, continuously welded seams, left in a natural stainless, smooth brushed finish. A continuous stainless steel hinged cover closes onto a seamless poured-in place gasket and is secured with stainless steel clamps and screws. Welded brackets are provided for mounting the enclosure, and inside, tapped studs carry the included removable 14 gauge inner panel, which is finished in white powder coating. The door has a bonding stud and the enclosure a grounding stud.

The inner panel is 10.75 x 8.88 in (273 x 226 mm). The drawing gives an 11.30 x 9.30 in door opening, 11.15 x 9.15 in of clear space on the door and a 13.50 in overall height including brackets. It ships in a box at 15 lbs (6.80 kg).

It is UL 508A and CSA listed for Type 3R, 4, 4X, 12 and 13 (UL File E65324, CSA LR21001) and complies with NEMA Type 3R, 4, 4X, 12 and 13 and IEC 60529, IP66. Where 316 stainless is required for the same size, the equivalent is 1414N4PHS16K6.
