Hammond 1414N4PHSSK 12x10x5 in 304 Stainless Type 4X Junction Box

The 1414N4PHSSK is a 12 x 10 x 5 in (305 x 254 x 127 mm) Type 4X junction box in 304 stainless steel from the 1414 N4 PH SS Series with continuous hinge door and clamps. At 5 in deep with a 12 x 10 in face, it provides room for control components, terminal blocks and instruments in environments where equipment may be hosed down, stay very wet, or be exposed to corrosion.

Construction is 16 gauge 304 stainless steel with smooth, continuously welded seams, left in a natural stainless, smooth brushed finish. A continuous stainless steel hinged cover closes onto a seamless poured-in place gasket and is secured with stainless steel clamps and screws. Welded brackets are provided for mounting the enclosure, and inside, tapped studs carry the included removable 14 gauge inner panel, which is finished in white powder coating. The door has a bonding stud and the enclosure a grounding stud.

The inner panel measures 10.75 x 8.88 in (273 x 226 mm). The drawing shows an 11.30 x 9.30 in door opening, 4.35 in usable depth, 11.15 x 9.15 in of clear space on the door and 13.50 in overall height including brackets. The shipping weight is 15 lbs (6.80 kg), in a box.

It is UL 508A and CSA listed for Type 3R, 4, 4X, 12 and 13 (UL File E65324, CSA LR21001) and complies with NEMA Type 3R, 4, 4X, 12 and 13 and IEC 60529, IP66. Where 316 stainless is required for the same size, the equivalent is 1414N4PHS16K.
