Hammond 104H 10k:2k Ohm CT 35 mW Interstage Audio Transformer

The 104H is a miniature interstage audio transformer from the 104 Series, coupling a 10000 ohm primary to a 2000 ohm center-tapped secondary. It is built for P.C. board amplifier circuits where one stage drives a balanced following stage and the primary carries a small DC current.

Center-tapped units in this series use a bifilar winding technique for balanced resistive and capacitive characteristics. The body is rugged black epoxy potting that forms a completely sealed unit, rated to withstand severe environmental conditions including those of MIL-T-27 (Grade 5, Class S). Pins are square, 0.025 in square typical, and 0.11 in +/-15% long. Where a connection is not used, no pin exists.

The 104H accepts a maximum primary DC of 3.2 mA. DC resistance is 675 ohms primary and 89 ohms secondary, +/- 15%. Output is rated at 35 mW with 1 dB insertion loss and a low frequency roll-off of 200 Hz at -1 dB. Peak working voltage is 200 V. It follows drawing figure 6.

The 104H is RoHS and REACH compliant and has a shipping weight of 0.05 lbs (0.02 kg). Within the 104 Series, the 104K offers a 20000 ohm primary with a 1000 ohm CT secondary at the same 35 mW rating.
