Hammond 104R 500:8 Ohm CT-Primary Potted Output Transformer

The 104R is a miniature output audio transformer in the 104 Series that matches a 500 ohm center-tapped primary to an 8 ohm secondary. Rated at 500 mW, it is intended for P.C. board audio output circuits driving an 8 ohm load.

Bifilar winding is used on the center-tapped primary for balanced resistive and capacitive characteristics. The transformer is potted in rugged black epoxy for a completely sealed unit that withstands severe environmental conditions, including those of MIL-T-27 (Grade 5, Class S). It mounts on 0.025 in square typical pins that are 0.11 in +/-15% long, and unused connections carry no pin.
