Hammond 104L 25k:600 Ohm CT Interstage PCB Audio Transformer

The 104L is the highest-impedance interstage transformer in the 104 Series, taking a 25000 ohm primary down to a 600 ohm center-tapped secondary. P.C. board designers can use it to couple a high-impedance amplifier stage into a 600 ohm balanced load.

Construction is rugged black epoxy potting, making a completely sealed unit that withstands severe environmental conditions, including those of MIL-T-27 (Grade 5, Class S). The center-tapped secondary is bifilar wound for balanced resistive and capacitive characteristics. Pins are 0.025 in square typical and 0.11 in +/-15% long, and unused connections have no pin.

The 104L allows a maximum primary DC of 2 mA, the lowest among the 104 Series interstage parts. DC resistance is 1890 ohms primary and 50 ohms secondary, +/- 15%. It delivers 35 mW output with 1 dB insertion loss and a -1 dB low frequency roll-off at 200 Hz. Peak working voltage is 200 V, and the outline follows drawing figure 6.

The 104L is RoHS and REACH compliant, with a shipping weight of 0.05 lbs (0.02 kg). It is identified by UPC 623980180106 and UNSPSC 39121301. Compared with the 104H and 104K interstage parts, it pairs the highest primary impedance with the lowest secondary impedance in the 104 interstage group.
