Hammond URR4U 4U Universal 10-32 Threaded Rack Rails, Pair

The URR4U is a 4U universal rack mount rail set, sold as a pair, that lets equipment manufacturers, system integrators and enclosure builders add industry-standard 10-32 rack mounting to virtually any custom design. It suits network appliances, industrial controllers, battery enclosures, communications cabinets, laboratory instruments and defense electronics where a durable, standards-based mounting interface is required.

Each rail is formed from heavy-duty 12-gauge mild steel and finished in black powder coat (painted black thin film per the drawing). The mounting holes are precision #10-32 tapped on typical EIA spacing of 1.75 in (44 mm), compliant with EIA-310 / TIA rack standards, so standard rack-mount equipment and hardware fit as expected. A folded rear flange increases rigidity and provides additional mounting points for accessories, cable management or structural support, and the rails carry integrated rack unit markings to simplify equipment installation and future expansion.

The URR4U provides 4U of mounting height: 7.00 in (178 mm) overall with 6.50 in (165 mm) of 4U hole spacing, a 0.62 in (16 mm) mounting width and 1.50 in (38 mm) depth. Nominal listed size is 7 in x 19 in x 1.5 in (178 mm x 483 mm x 38 mm) and shipping weight is 0.7 lbs (0.32 kg). The universal design works in 19-inch, 23-inch and 24-inch rack mounting applications, and the rails can also serve as replacement rails for Hammond RB-2PW Wall Racks and 24-inch wide HWC Wall Cabinets.

Mounting hardware is not included, so specify 10-32 mounting hardware separately. URR4U is manufactured in North America in an ISO 9001 certified facility, is TAA-compliant and USMCA compliant, and is RoHS and REACH compliant.
