Hammond URR2U 2U 10-32 Threaded Universal Rack Rail Pair

The URR2U is a 2U universal rack mount rail, supplied as a pair, for OEM engineers, enclosure builders and system integrators who need to add industry-standard 10-32 rack mounting to a custom design. The rails present precision EIA-310 / TIA compliant #10-32 tapped mounting holes, so standard rack-mount equipment bolts straight in, and the rack units are marked on the rail to simplify installation and future expansion.

Construction is heavy-duty 12-gauge steel in mild steel, finished in black powder coat (drawing notes a painted black thin film finish). A folded rear flange increases rigidity while providing additional mounting points for accessories, cable management or structural support. The URR Series is manufactured in North America in an ISO 9001 certified facility and is TAA compliant, USMCA compliant, and RoHS and REACH compliant.

This 2U size has a mounting height of 3.50 in (89 mm) with a 3.00 in (76 mm) 2U hole spacing, a mounting width of 0.62 in (16 mm) and a mounting depth of 1.50 in (38 mm). Nominal listed size is 3.5 in x 19 in x 1.5 in (89 mm x 483 mm x 38 mm), and shipping weight is 0.6 lbs (0.27 kg). Typical EIA hole spacing on the rail is 1.75 in (44 mm).

Because the design is universal, URR2U rails can be integrated into custom housings, equipment cabinets, consoles, mobile racks, test fixtures and enclosures from virtually any manufacturer, and support 19-inch, 23-inch and 24-inch rack mounting applications. They can also serve as replacement rails for Hammond RB-2PW Wall Racks and 24-inch wide HWC Wall Cabinets. Mounting hardware is not included; 10-32 mounting hardware is available as an accessory.
