Hammond URR3U 3U Universal 10-32 Rack Rails, Sold in Pairs

The URR3U is a pair of 3U universal rack mount rails with 10-32 tapped mounting holes, intended for OEM equipment manufacturers, system integrators and enclosure builders who need to add industry-standard rack mounting to a custom design. It suits compact applications such as a small network appliance, industrial controller, laboratory instrument or a 3U section of a larger custom chassis.

Rails in the URR Series are built from heavy-duty 12-gauge mild steel and finished in black powder coat (painted black thin film). The folded rear flange increases rigidity while providing additional mounting points for accessories, cable management or structural support. Rack units are marked on the rail to simplify equipment installation and future expansion.

The URR3U provides 3U of mounting space with a 5.25 in (133 mm) mounting height, 0.62 in (16 mm) mounting width and 1.50 in (38 mm) mounting depth. Hole spacing follows the typical EIA pattern of 1.75 in (44 mm) per rack unit, with 4.75 in (121 mm) of 3U spacing, and the #10-32 tapped holes are EIA-310 / TIA compliant so standard rack-mount equipment bolts straight up. Nominal listed size is 5.25 in x 19 in x 1.5 in (133 mm x 483 mm x 38 mm), and shipping weight is 0.55 lbs (0.25 kg).

The universal design works in 19-inch, 23-inch and 24-inch rack mounting applications, and these rails can also serve as replacement rails for Hammond RB-2PW Wall Racks and 24-inch wide HWC Wall Cabinets. URR3U is sold as a pair; mounting hardware is not included. RoHS and REACH compliant, TAA-compliant, and manufactured in North America in an ISO 9001 certified facility.
