Hammond URR24U 24U Universal 10-32 Rack Mount Rails, Pair

The URR24U is a pair of 24U universal rack mount rails used to add industry-standard 10-32 threaded rack mounting to custom equipment, cabinets and OEM enclosures. It is aimed at equipment manufacturers, system integrators and enclosure builders who need a durable, standards-based mounting interface in a housing of their own design.

Each rail is formed from heavy-duty 12-gauge steel (mild steel) and finished in a black powder coat thin film. The 10-32 tapped mounting holes are laid out to EIA-310 / TIA spacing, with the typical 1.75 in (44 mm) rack unit pitch, so standard rack-mount equipment bolts straight in. Rack units are marked on the rail to simplify equipment placement and future expansion, and a folded rear flange increases rigidity while providing extra mounting points for accessories, cable management or structural support.

The URR24U provides 24U of mounting space: 42.00 in (1067 mm) overall mounting height with 41.50 in (1054 mm) of 24U hole spacing, a 0.62 in (16 mm) mounting width and 1.50 in (38 mm) depth. Nominal listed size is 42 in x 19 in x 1.5 in (1,067 mm x 483 mm x 38 mm) and shipping weight is 4.25 lbs (1.93 kg). The rails suit 19-inch, 23-inch and 24-inch rack mounting applications.
