Hammond URR21U 21U Universal 10-32 Threaded Rack Rails, Pair

The URR21U is a pair of 21U universal rack mount rails with 10-32 tapped mounting holes, intended for equipment manufacturers, system integrators and enclosure builders who need to add industry-standard rack mounting to a custom design. Each pair delivers 21 rack units of EIA-310 / TIA compliant mounting space, making it suitable for network appliances, industrial controllers, battery enclosures, communications cabinets, laboratory instruments and defense systems.

Construction is heavy-duty 12-gauge mild steel finished in black powder coat (painted black thin film per the drawing). A folded rear flange increases rigidity while providing additional mounting points for accessories, cable management or structural support. Integrated rack unit markings along the rail simplify equipment installation and future expansion.

Overall rail height is 36.75 in (933 mm) with 36.25 in (921 mm) of 21U hole spacing on typical 1.75 in (44 mm) EIA centres. The rail face measures 0.62 in (16 mm) wide and 1.50 in (38 mm) deep; the product-list nominal size for the pair is 36.75 in x 19 in x 1.5 in (933 mm x 483 mm x 38 mm). Shipping weight is 3.75 lbs (1.70 kg). Tapped holes are #10-32, with 0.27 in (7 mm) holes and 0.28 in x 0.78 in slots for fastening the rails into a chassis or cabinet.

URR21U rails are compatible with 19-inch, 23-inch and 24-inch rack mounting applications and can also serve as replacement rails for Hammond RB-2PW Wall Racks and 24-inch wide HWC Wall Cabinets. They are sold as a pair; mounting hardware is not included. The rails are TAA-compliant, USMCA compliant, RoHS and REACH compliant, and manufactured in North America in an ISO 9001 certified facility.
