The ST603612SS is a 60 in high, 36 in wide, 12 in deep Eclipse ST sloped top enclosure, among the tallest sizes in the series. It is aimed at panel builders and OEM engineers enclosing large electrical or electronic control assemblies on a wall in harsh, industrial environments, with a sloped top that prevents water from resting on the enclosure.
The enclosure is formed 14 gauge 304 stainless steel with continuously welded seams ground smooth and a smooth brushed natural stainless finish. A formed lip excludes flowing liquids and contaminants, and a seamless poured-in place gasket seals the door. At 36 in wide it includes a door alignment guide. The door closes with quarter turn latches requiring a tool, on 304 stainless hinges with stainless steel hinge pins, and can be removed for modifications.
The ordering table lists H1 60.00 in, H2 64.35 in (1634 mm), W 36.00 in and D 12.00 in. The drawing shows a 34.31 in wide by 58.32 in high door opening, a 35.97 in wide door and a 70° slope. An inner panel is required to maintain UL/CSA on sizes over 24 in (600 mm) wide; the EP6036 panel measures 58.20 x 34.20 in and mounts on collar studs.
Wall mounting holes are 0.50 in diameter on 34.50 x 58.50 in centres, and a hardware kit with panel mounting nuts and sealing washers is included. A mounting foot kit is required to maintain UL/CSA external mounting requirements. Bonding and grounding studs are provided.
