Hammond ST363612SS 36x36x12 in Square Sloped Top Stainless Enclosure

The ST363612SS is a square 36 x 36 in Eclipse ST sloped top enclosure with 12 in of depth. It gives control panel builders and integrators a large Type 4X stainless steel wallmount housing for electrical or electronic equipment in harsh, industrial environments, with a sloped top that prevents water from resting on it and provides potential for controls mounting.

The enclosure is formed 14 gauge 304 stainless steel with continuously welded seams ground smooth and a natural stainless smooth brushed finish. A formed lip excludes flowing liquids and contaminants and a seamless poured-in place gasket seals the door. Because it is 36 in wide, it includes the door alignment guide the series provides on 36 in wide enclosures. Quarter turn latches requiring a tool secure the door on 304 stainless hinges with stainless steel hinge pins.

H1 is 36.00 in and H2 is 40.35 in (1025 mm). The drawing shows a 34.49 in wide by 34.47 in high door opening, a 35.97 in wide door and a 70° slope. Sizes over 24 in (600 mm) wide require an inner panel to maintain UL/CSA; the EP3636 panel is 34.20 x 34.20 in and mounts on collar studs.

Wall mounting holes are 0.50 in diameter on 34.50 x 34.50 in centres, with an included hardware kit of panel mounting nuts and sealing washers. A mounting foot kit is required to maintain UL/CSA external mounting requirements. A bonding stud on the door and grounding stud in the body are provided.

The ST363612SS is rated UL 508A and CSA Type 3R, 4, 4X and 12, complies with NEMA 3R, 4, 4X, 12 and 13 and IP66, and ships boxed at 108 lbs (48.99 kg).
