The ST363016SS is the 16 in deep version of the 36 x 30 in Eclipse ST sloped top enclosure. With the deepest body offered in this size, it suits OEM engineers and panel builders housing bulkier electrical or electronic equipment on a wall in harsh, industrial environments, while the sloped top prevents water from resting on top.
It is formed 14 gauge 304 stainless steel with continuously welded seams ground smooth and a smooth brushed natural stainless finish on cover and enclosure. A formed lip excludes flowing liquids and contaminants; the door seals on a seamless poured-in place gasket and closes with quarter turn latches that require a tool. Hinges are 304 stainless with stainless steel hinge pins, and the door is removable for modifications.
In the ordering table, H1 is 36.00 in, H2 is 41.80 in (1062 mm), W is 30.00 in and D is 16.00 in (406 mm). The drawing shows a 28.49 in wide by 34.47 in high door opening and a 29.97 in wide door. Sizes over 24 in (600 mm) wide require an inner panel to maintain UL/CSA; the EP3630 panel measures 34.20 x 28.20 in and mounts on collar studs.
Wall mounting holes are 0.50 in diameter on 28.50 x 34.50 in centres, and a hardware kit with panel mounting nuts and sealing washers is included. A mounting foot kit is required to maintain UL/CSA external mounting requirements. Bonding and grounding studs are provided.
