The ST363012SS is a 36 x 30 in Eclipse ST sloped top enclosure with 12 in of depth. It is designed for panel builders and OEM engineers who need a large Type 4X stainless steel wallmount housing with room for deeper equipment in harsh, industrial environments, and the sloped top prevents water from resting on top.
Construction is formed 14 gauge 304 stainless steel with continuously welded seams ground smooth and a smooth brushed natural stainless finish. A formed lip excludes flowing liquids and contaminants, and a seamless poured-in place gasket seals the door. The door is held by quarter turn latches requiring a tool, on 304 stainless hinges with stainless steel hinge pins, and is removable and interchangeable.
The ordering table lists H1 36.00 in, H2 40.35 in (1025 mm), W 30.00 in and D 12.00 in. The drawing shows a 28.56 in wide by 34.47 in high door opening, a 29.97 in wide door and a 70° slope. As a 30 in wide size it needs an inner panel to maintain UL/CSA per the series standards; the EP3630 panel is 34.20 x 28.20 in and fits the collar studs provided.
Mounting holes are 0.50 in diameter on 28.50 x 34.50 in centres, and a hardware kit with panel mounting nuts and sealing washers is included. A mounting foot kit is required to maintain UL/CSA external mounting requirements. A bonding stud on the door and grounding stud in the body are provided.
The ST363012SS carries UL 508A and CSA Type 3R, 4, 4X and 12 ratings, complies with NEMA 3R, 4, 4X, 12 and 13 and IP66, and ships boxed at 91 lbs (41.28 kg).
